We began in early 2020, six graduate students building a remote-control solution for ventilators in the first weeks of the pandemic — and never stopped building together. Since 2022 we operate as Papaia Innovation GmbH in Zürich.
Each of us can build an entire system from scratch — so we never lose sight of the whole product — while every member leads in their own domain, from mechanics and electronics to control, software and AI.
How we work
Focus on the essentials first, challenging opinions, following a customer- and problem-centric iterative development approach, inspired by recognized frameworks like Design Thinking, Agile and Rapid Prototyping.
